The VG01 features the industry’s first eGen Energy Regeneration System. Under sufficient light conditions, the VG01 can continuously maintain power generation, significantly extending battery life. Test data indicates that the VG01 achieves permanent battery life in environments with illuminance exceeding 1700 lux. In extreme cases, this system can also use the magnetic charging cable for quick recharging.

The VG01 can be charged using a standard 5V power adapter or the included magnetic charging cable.
The relationship between battery indicator LED colors and power levels is as follows:
· 75%~100% Blue
· 50%~75% Green
· 25%~50% White
· 0%~25% Red
The VG01 automatically enters sleep mode after 30 seconds of inactivity. Moving the bike can wake up the power meter.
Rotate the crank to ensure the power meter is in wake mode.
Cycle-computer Connection:
Open the cycle-computer settings interface, search for the power meter, select VG01 and connect, or manually enter the power meter’s ID to connect.
Phone Connection:
Ensure the phone’s Bluetooth is enabled. No pairing is required in the phone’s Bluetooth settings. Launch the EFXLink app and navigate to the power meter page. Swipe down on the blank area or tap the search button. Tap the displayed power meter to auto-connect.

Installing the VG01 yourself is not recommended. please seek professional installation. The manufacturer assumes no liability for any damage caused by improper installation.
Installation Steps:
1. Secure the chainring to the power meter and tighten the screws according to the chainring specification.
2. Secure the power meter to the crank: Use a locking ring for EASTON-compatible crank-set and tighten to 40 N/m. For SRAM 3-bolt cranks, apply 8–9 N/m of torque; for SRAM 8-bolt cranks, apply 4 N/m..
3. Install a bottom bracket that matches the crank specifications into the frame.
4. Insert the crankset (with the power meter/chainring installed) into the bottom bracket. Please ensure that the power meter does not come into contact with the frame's bottom bracket shell. If contact occurs, insert an appropriate spacer on the chainring side to prevent damage to both the power meter and the frame.
5. If necessary, adjust the position of the adjustment ring on the non-drive side crank to maintain proper clearance. Tighten the adjustment ring and crank to the specified torque.
6. Once installation is complete, keep your legs off the cranks and gently rotate them to ensure the power meter is activated. And then use the latest version of EFXLink to update the VG01 firmware and perform an 'auto-calibration and zeroing' operation to ensure optimal performance..
7. (Optional) Apply a strong sprinting force to release installation stress, then perform another “Auto Calibration and Zero Reset” operation.
8. If necessary, you may calibrate the output data via “Power adjust” on the EFXLink.
